Following on from last weeks post where I finished off every Barons' War figure that I have in the pile of shame, this week I painted the last 20 American Civil War figures in that pile!
The figures are all from the Crusader Miniatures range while the standards are all Flags of War.
The Crusader Miniatures range are some great sculpts that are often overlooked, but I really like them.

Lovely brushwork Paul, and it must be nice to clear the deck for yet more minis. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Curt, Victoria is now asking pointed questions about where I am going to store all this stuff and why am I not playing with it :D
DeletePile of potential, Paul... never shame 😁. Lovely looking work.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tim In my house, we have the tray of potential and the pile of shame. Things only get onto the tray of potential when they are primed and ready to paint :D
DeleteThey look great Paul. I agree on Crusader, a great make. I like how they do variants on a common marching pose giving both continuity and variety to your regiments.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter, I am thinking of maybe not adding new units, but changing out my original plastics for more metals and Crusader will be at the forefront of that.
DeleteWonderful work and great johnny rebs.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bruce

DeleteGreat job on these. I've a mountain of 28mm ACW to paint myself this year, so I particularly liked seeing what you;d done.

DeleteExcelleny brushwork Paul. And well done completing both period's!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ray
DeleteI really like these figures with a range of colours in the uniform grey which would otherwise look bland. Nice flags and basing round off some pleasing rebels
ReplyDeleteThanks Norber
DeleteVery nice Paul - does it worry you that you are finishing off projects :)
ReplyDeleteCheers Richard, can we say anything is every truly done. I'll likely be picking up more to go with these.
