From ArthurS: Duel at Benito's Brook (40 pts)

Hoi,

Travelling on from Millsy's Millpond, Arthur has now reached Benito's Brook. A dire Last Stand is needed and he had a good look at his miniature mountain (or hillock more like, it all fits in one small plastic box) and came up with the following story and figures:

"For days the adversaries have been hunting each other; a Power Wing Space Marine and a big green monster. Now, finally, completely covered in the Brook's muddy soil, they have reached a stand-off. While the Marine is armoured and heavily armed, the monster is clearly huge and powerful, they are fairly well matched. Who will win? That's anyone's guess... and thus up to the beholder to decide!"

Oh, okay I did redact Arthur's text a bit but the core is the Lad's. I have no idea what make the monster is, it was given to me and Arthur liked it immediately so into his box it went and came out for this entry.

Pointswise it's no Rocket Science: 2 miniatures in 28mm is 10 points and the bonus from Benito's Brook should be 30 points so together that makes a nice round 40.

Cheers Sander

Dear Arthur. I really love these duelists. The colour of the Space Marine is brilliant and his sword matches perfectly. The monster is great and his eyes are really scary. Really well done.

  1. Love it - another Space Marine staring the evil Xenos threat down with a bolt pistol, a funky sword and some faith in The Emperor...

    1. Believe it or not but Arthur really thinks his choice of colours through thoroughly. It often looks like he's just brushing them completely blue and some spots of purple etc but it is done painstakingly careful.
