(RichardH) More and More Space Elronds (195pts)

Had a couple of other things almost ready but just missing the cut off for this week, so instead it is simply more and more of those space elves (and their damned gems..... I really hate those gems).

First up a set of six swoopy woosher bike things.

Points for these sit at:
28mm Mounted - 6 @ 10pt = 60pts

Next up the other one of the big Wraithlord type walkers, and another bout of endless spaces where the sculpter felt there should be gems. This one is armed not with a giant pew pew but instead went full out on two vrooms.

Points for this based on last weeks post:
40mm Vehicle 1 @ 25pt = 25pts

Next is a full squad of Storm Guardians along with a ground mounted vroom artillery piece. Many swords means much dashes of blends, but many swords also means no gems on guns, yay!

Points on these are:
28mm Foot - 10 @ 5pt = 50pts
28mm Artillery - 1 @ 10 pt = 10 pts
Total = 60pts

Last up this week is a full squad of corsairs, these folks have way too much detail for simple foot troops and so it was a challenge to pick where to go to town on details and where to ignore. They are definitely a bunch of models that could in future be ripe for some crazy clown type colours and maxing out every tiny little detail though.

Points for these are:
28mm Foot - 10 @ 5pt = 50pts

This makes the weeks total of 195pts which breaks my original 300pt target, now to see what fun stuff I can get painted up to try and tick off more of the studio boxes.

Gotta love a force that fields swoopy woosher bike things!  Great work on the space Elves and congrats on hitting your Challenge goal with over a month to spare.  Did you want to double down and up your benchmark?

A reminder to add labels to maintain order in the Snowboard's Archivist world (one does not wish to displease the Snowlord by disturbing the order of such things).  I've added one with your moniker but I've no idea what to label most of this stuff or who made them.

  1. The white base rims are very eye catching lol. It works very well with the basing and the colour scheme.

  2. What, no gems on swords? :) They do look fine Richard, I like the athmosphere you have created for them. Very xenos.

  4. GW should hire you to do the naming for new units, it would be a lot easier to understand their battlefield role.
Great looking set of Eldar, but you need more gems.
