Breaking the duck for Challenge 14 with these old (but newly acquired) Sisters Repentia for my old Sisters of Battle army. There's nine here, two painted before the Challenge, but seven after the Challenge period started. So I'm counting 35 points for seven 28mm models plus 20 for the location - New Acquisitions.
These Repentia are really neat models cut straight from the old GW "BDSM lite" mold. The Repentia are Sisters of Battle who have transgressed in some way (retreated from battle? forgot the backup promethium canister? lip-synced instead of actually sung the hymn? who knows) and who have taken the Vow of Repentance. They're kicked out of their unit, given some rags to wear, and handed a massive Eviscerator chainsword and then it's look out, traitors and heretics!
Great models eh? Well GW sure doesn't make 'em like this anymore. Great metal models and a fun way to start the Challenge. Away we go!_______________________________________
Great work on these wonderful gems, Dallas! As you say, they still hold up so well, even against the newer sculpts out today (and they're in wonderful metal). It's funny, as I have a squad of these very same castings sitting on the side of my table, so your fine examples will be great impetus to get mine done.
Awesome Dallas, great entry!
