| Toronto's Union Station, seen from my office, buried in snow. |
The snow-pocalypse has arrived in southern Ontario. The "forecast" of 5cms of snow has turned into 20-30cms of snow, blowing etc. The climate softness of Toronto folks relative to the rest of Canada is a notorious national trope. It seems all it takes to ensnare everything here in the Toronto area is just a mere mention of the word "snow", much less the actual appearance of the stuff. So when it actually hits, things get pretty screwed up.
Thus my day is rather !@#!#!@#ed up, so there will be delays on posting - my apologies in advance.

Good luck Greg, sounds like the UKs response to snow to be honest!

Snow delays are inevitable. Hang in there. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteHave a good one despite the snowtastrophe. We can send you some lack of ability to cope with from the UK
ReplyDeleteTorontonians *collective western Canadian eyeroll...* ;)
ReplyDeleteI could hear the eye roll from Bay street!
DeleteThat doesn't look like a fun environment to commute in, take care.
ReplyDeleteTake care, mentioning snow seems to have same paralyzing effect as "second round of playoffs..."
ReplyDeleteOooh...well-played, Teemu :)
DeleteLOL - not to worry Greg, it takes even less here in Belgium - and then I think of my years in Winnipeg and Ottawa!
ReplyDeleteWe have sacked Mayors for not getting the plows out on time.
ReplyDeleteOh heck - and I thought it was just Britain. Best of luck!
