Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.

Tamsin's Friday Flights of Fancy #9
"Good morning Lady, Gentlemen (and Ray). We are currently cruising at 43,878 points towards our target altitude of 64,058 points."
"Can you believe that this is already day 70 of our flight? Cripes! Just three weeks left after today to make up 20,180 points. That's just over 900 points per day - are we up to that Challenge?"
"It looks like we have plenty of entertainment for you today:
Martin C will be trying not to peek to early;
Peter A and Noel are trying various schemes to attract Lady Sarah's attention;
Simon is living up to his nickname of 'the Nuln Oil Kid';
Mike W is throwing out some odds and ends;
Sebastian is setting up basecamp in O'Grady's Gulch; and
Eric is treating us to some heavy metal."
"I expect that other passengers will come along with further entertainments throughout the day, so sit back and enjoy the flight!"
"Toodle-pip!"

Safe flight mam!
ReplyDeleteHave a good and safe day Tamsin, hopefully Ray free. I care more about quality than quality and I think that the quality has been top notch this year. Plus we’re all distracted by island locations which is making the challenge more fun.
ReplyDeleteI agree, but I will try anyway ;-) I think some more khaki is in order...
DeleteGet the blue tablets ready for Ray
ReplyDelete@ Sander - with our pilot? I've no idea how this airline hasn't been closed down for multiple aviation safety violations! ;)
ReplyDelete@ Peter - sadly it wasn't Ray free; the fecker snuck an entry in this evening. :o
@ Dave - I slipped him the blue, red and green pills. There aren't any dangerous interactions are there? ;)
I aim to please!
DeleteRed blue and green together, should be fine. If it’s like my paint palette you’ve ended up giving him a brown pill,
