Barks
Looks like a good day Challenge-wise, bad day otherwise. We have some kind of storm here in Finland, but that is nothing compared to the storm Putin has created in Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteSounds good so far. Have a good Thursday! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but I find this post to be in poor taste, given what is happening and the reported loss of life that has already occurred.
ReplyDeleteSo as to not finish on a negative; this edition of the Challenge has been another cracker and has kept me following/lurking, enjoying what I see.
Roy
Thanks, Roy, I appreciate your feedback. I found it a bit disconcerting to be posting about our escapist toy soldier hobby as serious real world events unfold. I feel unable to affect any change myself and do tend to default towards black humour.
DeleteI definitely sympathize with your comments Roy, the events in the 'real world' are certainly horrific - especially on this sobering day. Paradoxically, I often feel that much of what we do here as a hobby could be seen to be in poor taste as well. Perhaps a topic for a broader conversation in another forum. This all being said, like Barks, I often find myself reaching to the darker side of humour to express my dismay with the world.
