From Barks: Trooper Chow, Imperial Army Burch's Bluffs (35 points)

Trooper Chow hears the news that the Emperor has slain Horus!*

"What a relief! An end to this period of dark grimness!"

I found this chap second-hand at CanCon last month. He is Trooper Chow from the original 1987 Imperial Army. It is fascinating to see how many design elements of '40K look' were locked in over thirty years ago- and also to see how quickly the standards of sculpting rose. The 'X' is, of course, for Challenge X.

*Sorry, spoiler

Nice work on this chap, he looks ready for something, not sure of anything that happens after 1945
