I have another bit of Sudan collection work completed. This sees the last bits from the 20 boxes of Perry Mahdists now being completed. Yes all that cutting stuff from the sprues is a period best forgotten . It takes me up to 1250 foot figures for the mahdists.
These are based on large bases from Simon Miller of Big Red Bat fame. Each large base has 14 figures on and represents in game terms a single large Warband for black powder , or 300 figures for Sands of Sudan
I am down to the last dregs of the lead mountain now - so I reckon that’s it for this years challenge Sudan entries .
56 28mm foot = 280 points .. mini point bombs , and get me near half way to target .
I can't belive you've nearly finished this collection marvellous
ReplyDeleteNearly ish !

ReplyDeleteHoly s**t!😲
That’s just the foot - another 250 mounted !
DeleteProper sized unit that Dave 👌
ReplyDeleteRegards KenR
It will do nicely for sure
DeleteIs 1250 enough though? Really?
ReplyDeleteWell no ... but it feels a reasonable place to draw a line
DeleteGreat to see more from Sudan Dave, sad if this has run its course. But that means that you can start a new over the top project right?
ReplyDeleteJust a few odd bits left . The WW2 has already over expanded .. the cowboys are complete , . Napoleonics are due a bit of madness I think
DeleteSpectacular stuff; the bases are great as well.
ReplyDeleteCheers
DeleteThese are terrific Dave, surely you must be able to find more Sudan stuff somewhere in the backlog to treat us with
ReplyDeleteMaybe a few bits - if I can get my nextvWW2 stuff d9ne
DeleteAh wow glad you brought this project back this year (and kept it!). Awesome
ReplyDeleteIndeed - it’s not going anywhere else for now
DeleteGreat looking mob of Mahdists! Nice bases too!
