From PaulSS: 6mm Prussian Napoleonic reinforcements (160pts)

We have been playing rather a lot of General D'Armee this year, at Adepticon Ed and I were chatting about how great it is, but playing in 28mm - I do have already a rather large collection - did mean setting up some rather big tables - typically 12ft x 6ft - and schlepping about 20 Really Useful Boxes of figures around each others houses or to conventions.

So we decided to build some collection in 6mm so that we could play some "dining room table" games without such a big lift. I still cherish the 28mm stuff and that will be seen more in public, but for what I do in my own home, 6mm is perfect.

I set around painting a Prussian force suitable for 1813 through 1815 campaigns, and you can see the efforts here and here on Scrivsland.

But, gluttony (for another post) takes over and there was more yet to paint ready for the challenge to start.

First up is a battalion of Landwehr infantry from Elbe with light blue facings (48 foot)

The next Landwehr unit represents a battalion from Pomerania with white facings (40 foot)

A unit of cavalry representing the 1st Uhlans (18 cavalry)

Four bases of skirmishing Fusiliers in the grey uniform of the reserves (24 foot)

A battery of 6 pounders with attached howitzer (16 foot, 4 guns)

Eight limbers, enough for two batteries (24 mounted, 24 horses, 8 vehicles)

Four command stands, the larger one represents a divisional commander, the smaller ones commanding cavalry brigades (14 mounted)

Finally, not adding me any points, but I painted up some redoubts to cover two infantry battalions.

During the challenge you should see me complete the entirety of my Prussian force and then make a start on the French to oppose them.

138 foot, 56 mounted, 24 horses, 4 guns and 8 vehicles in 6mm should add 157 points to my tally.

TeemuL: That's an excellent looking army here, or at least a start of an army. And you say they are 6mm, they sure look much bigger to me! I definitely want to see more of them, especially when they are photographed so well. I'll throw in couple of bonus points for the awesomeness to round the total to 160 points. By the way, I'm sure there are some followers in the Challenge, who would like to know the manufacturer of these minis, so if you can add that info in your future posts, it would be helpful.
