This is what I painted this winter in my mad dash to come equal 1st. They had better reinforce the podium
3 projects, WW1, Vietnam and Italian Wars
I've finished my map. It sits in an old picture frame with 135 tiles
Couldn't fit me in the pictures so this is me in a pub
Thank you all for a great winter, don't forget Hammerhead
Martin
Fantastic stuff, Martin. As I said before, I really enjoyed your tour in Vietnam. I also really like this campaign hex map you've devised. Very very cool.
ReplyDeletecheers
DeleteCongratulations on joint 1st/2nd/3rd. Your output and focus have been impressive throughout the challenge.
ReplyDeletethank you

DeleteExcellent work on the sheer amount of figures! I do like that hex map, campaigns are always tempting....
ReplyDeleteCheers, really looking forward to using the map for campaigns
DeleteGreat stuff Martin - I enjoyed your Vietnam stuff very much in particular
ReplyDeleteCheers, hope to get a game with them on Monday
DeleteWonderful stuff Martin and it's an honor to be tied with you and Noel for points. I there was any factor in quality, I'd be way behind either of you. I'm with Paul - I really love the Vietnam stuff you did this year. I also appreciate the fact you submitted a picture of you in your natural habitat, although I find the rather rakish "come-hither" look on your face somewhat disturbing.
ReplyDeleteCheers and enough of the platitudes, the honours are even on all levels. As to the sexy pub shot - I miss both pubs and being sexy
DeleteAs do we all...
DeleteFor some of us one of those was a very long time ago
DeleteExcellent work Marin, both in terms of volume and quality
ReplyDeletethank you and thanks for your comments during the challenge, they are always appreciated
DeleteA valiant effort Martin, you painted a hell of a lot of figures!
ReplyDeletecheers, only ruined 3 paint brushes - 2 on the last day, and emptied 8 paint pots.
DeleteWell done, Martin. I hope you can stock up at Hammerhead.
ReplyDeletecheers, that's the plan
DeleteWell done Martin, excellent output as always and the Vietnam stuff was stand out great!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Cheers, hopefully get to play with them next week
DeleteAs always your figures are excellent and the way you present them very well written and entertaining, loved it all Martin! No worries, while sexiness might be out of grasp, the pubs will surely reopen soon ;-)
ReplyDeleteCheers Sander, do need a pint
