From Barks: AHPC XIII completed

I like looking back at the end of each Challenge to see what I have painted. It is often a surprise and a reminder of what I can achieve with your inspiration and encouragement. Even though my points target was a bit optimistic, I got a lot of projects out of my 'to-do' tray. I can't really pick a favourite.

I made it through the studio and should now be eligible for admission to the elitist 10 000 points club. Let me in!

Here's a pic of yours truly after an incident trying to get a glass marble into a 200mL bottle of Vallejo Grey Surface Primer.

Looking forwards to XIV!

  1. You know Barks, you only get points for painting miniatures, not painting yourself or anything else in 1:1 scale, I'm sure we have some earlier cases clearly defining this. :)

But indeed, it is always surprising to gather all the models together and wonder how one can paint so much in three months.

  3. Well done that man. Although I don't think you are getting good undercoat coverage there.

  6. Great output, Barks! I liked your slightly off-canon Gothmog vignette, and your Italieri gladiators very much. And your checkered paint, must get some of that. Also, many thanks for your nice and supportive comments, much appreciated. See you in December!

  12. Wonderful wrap up Barks! I very much enjoyed your SoB and Gothmog vignette. BTW, the surface primer needs to go on smoothly, in an even coat. It helps to hide those imperfections... :)
