JezT - Biblical Babylonians - 25mm -125 points

 Hi All

This week posting for the second room on the library tour - HISTORY and presenting some newly painted 3 x packs of Biblical figures from Cutting Edge Miniatures.  I already have a Hittite army using this figure range and these extra packs will allow me to expand and also field a Babylonian army for my preferred Basic Impetus rules army range.

If you don't know the Cutting Edge from Warlord range, they are quite "old skool" traditional 25mm figures and fit in with with old style Minifigs and such.  The 3 packs comprise 8 x archers, one light chariot, 8 x medium spear.

skirmish archer bases for basic impetus

Left over odd archer will be based as chariot runner on existing other chariot

Driver converted from older javelin figure - quite hard to fit two figures into the cab

Painted pack pre-basing - the last 9th figure is the second option chariot warrior

Skirmisher javelin base

Light Foot Spear base - odd figures left based as chariot runners elsewhere

Points wise that should be 16 figures @ 5 = 80, plus light chariot and warrior =25, plus library HISTORY room bonus = 20 so 125 all together.

Have a great week painting everyone.

Cheers Jez
Great job overall. Seeing a lot of multi based models today, and all like this are looking amazing! Great work here! 125 points for you! Kyle

  1. Great work Jez, I really like the desert basing look you’re achieved. With those big Impetus bases there’s plenty of space to fill and yours look great

  2. Lovely painting here. You've gone quite loose with models on bases here which to me is an unusual choice. Looks good for indicating skirmishes though.
