I've continued working on my Watchers for Wild West Exodus. First up, we have three more of the Veridian Chigoes. These were painted in exactly the same way as the last ones, and give me the option of bringing the unit up to maximum size.
Next up, I finished some more of the Greys, this time a Drain Myriad. These are basic foot troopers from what I can tell. One of the more irritating things that I have discovered is that the models come in a minimum unit size of 5. This would be fine if they didn't come in a mixed box with the other infantry type, also with a minimum size of 5, but a 6/4 split between them. This would leave me with an undersized unit. Fortunately, they have the option of upgrading one troop to carry a specialist weapon, and so I was able to steal one from the box of specialists to give me a minimum sized unit.
This should give me 3x54mm models and 5x40mm, for a total of 65 points.
Great looking minis. The war, basing really contrasts nicely with the grey tones of the figures.
ReplyDeleteNice work! Really like the basing on these guys
ReplyDeleteThese are really very convincing in their sombre attire with the green accents. Great job!
