Hundred Years War archers Matthew Williamson 40 points

English & French HYW Longbowmen

 Finally onto some infantry types, I have a few bases of these on the way this week, around 30 on the table along with more cavalry from mixed medieval periods

Perry Metal  English archers suitable for the mid to late 100 years war

      I am a huge fan of the claymore sculpts, bigger so easier to paint!

  2. Actually I believe the second set is also Perry, AO13 "Veteran archers nocking and loosing", the Claymore are more dynamic in pose and with thinner bows -- superb paintwork on these figures especially the clean arm guards, I hate painting these things!

  3. ohh you are correct Simon, I just am working my way through my drawer of HYW figures and these were next on the pile and thought they were Claymore because of the size!

    I will check!
