Next up is the start of a new collection . It’s a wander down a 15mm Team Yankee / 7 `days to the Rhine path , partly because I like the models and we already have loads of suitable terrain. Rather than go the usual route we are choosing more minor countries . JamesM of this parish is doing Dutch , so for NATO I am adding in a French contingent
A total of 20 armoured vehicles and 2 helicopters
So 176 points to the good and the Neverending Cold War challenge
That's a nice battlegroup, Dave!

DeleteGreat work Dave, excellent mix of vehicles and very well detailed
ReplyDeleteI was really taken with the armoured cars with 105mm guns - so just really wanted them with a few friends
DeleteGreat collection of stylish if some ineffective French kit Dave
ReplyDeleteYeah - I suspect they might be a paper tiger
Deletegreat work, are you going to line them up in spear chukking battle order like normal
ReplyDeleteNo just the usual traffic jam
DeleteGreat job, there is a certain elegance too these modern French vehicles. I really like your subtle camouflage patterns!
ReplyDeleteThanks- I enjoyed getting the airbrush out
DeleteFantastic painting.
ReplyDeleteCheers
DeleteGreat job on these Dave, looking forward to getting a game in with them.
ReplyDeleteInfantry shortly and we are good to go with the East Germans . Before the red horde !
Deletewonderful work Dave. I'm with Martijn in liking the design of French kit. Especially like the Gazelles.
ReplyDeleteYeah they are cool . I need to get some proper acrylic rotor replacements done - I have a long list to give Leon at Prndraken !
DeleteThey look very sharp, Dave! I like how you weathered them up. My little tanks either look like they came fresh from the wash racks or are in desperate need of maintenance or refit! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I am a bit unhappy with the dry brush in the end - but they look better to the eye than the camera so it will do!
DeleteGood looking stuff, I like the camo especially.
ReplyDeleteCheers
DeleteThese look awesome. Great camo work
ReplyDeleteGreat work Dave. I love the look of the French kit - an AMX10 in particular would be lovely on Highway 401. Maybe an AMX30 too...
ReplyDelete"Seven Days to the River Rhine" is an awesome set of rules as well, so I hope you enjoy seeing these awesome French vehicles on the table.
Fab work Dave!
ReplyDeleteCheers Ray
DeleteYou paint great tanks Dave
