Well here we are again with the 40mm figures,
once again these are perry miniatures, metals
these are part of a commission. It's been different painting this scale
but I'm quite pleased with the result
First up three British rifles, I actually have one more
to do but once again missed seeing him in the box of undercoated minis
I really like this uniform and have always enjoyed painting it.
there was only one French infantry figure in the box so maybe
there will be more in the future
then one British light infantry figure, really please with how they turned out
I finally finished the musketeers
they are quite cool especially when you add in the extras
Rochfort, Cardinal's guard
D, Artagnan
with the table setup I made some bread potatoes and a roast
chicken, even made some meatballs to go in the bowl on the far
table all thanks to green stuff
and then we have a few 40mm geese and a pig to help set the scene
And here they all are together and they are not playing well.
Points
5 x 40mm Napoleonic infantry @ 7pts = 35
3 x 40mm Musketeers @ 7pts = 21
40mm 2 x tables and chairs along with all the extras add to the tables = 10 pts
1 pig 3 geese 40mm = 15pts
From Millsy: Another smashing batch of 40mm kit from you Kent. I'm particularly impressed by the subtle colour variation and the neat piping on the rifleman's uniform. I think the furniture and animals are about the same effort as 28mm infantry so 5pts apiece for those. Great work!
Lovely brushwork
