For Golem's Haunt I needed to come up with something that was 'created', for want of a better word. I went with a Manticore, a magical creature created in some wizard's laboratory. At least I hope it was created in some lab, as I don't want to think about that 'encounter' if it came about naturally. This 28mm fig is from Wizkids and their Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures line.
So that should be:
Lovely paintwork Scott, nice fierce expression this one has! And the wings look really leathery and creaky
ReplyDeleteGreat looking mythical creature.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like one terrifying beasty. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSplendid looking magical construct! Lovely finish!

Very cool
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a manticore figure for years...excellent stuff.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work, Scott - always hard to pull together the different "animal" elements in a mythically hybrid, but you've done it very convincingly.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work on this semi kitty Scott.
ReplyDeleteNicely done Scott
ReplyDeleteLovely work Scott! I really like his mane and skin tone. Well done! I'm also counting this as a cavalry figure as its obviously more involved than a foot figure.
ReplyDeleteGreat work, Scott! Just the perfect thing to create in the Golem's Haunt, Sir!
ReplyDeleteA great figure very well painted - very nice Scott!
ReplyDeleteSmashing figure that Scott, well done
