From DaveD “Gone with the Wind” Rhett Historical Drama - 70 Points

For aesthetic purposes I will visit these in reverse order . First up a little pop across to B&W with a figure I found languishing on the shelf last night .

Next up is a female ARVN officer to add to to the force, and we shall pop along to Historical Drama in Lady Sarah’s Limousine

Now once we get to Historical Drama -what better than that classic “Gone With The Wind” about the Turnip versus Swede Civil War - when does one become the other ..

Hopefully we don’t give a damn ..

So I introduce you to arch vegetable villain Rhett in all his/her its glory - it’s all very woke. Complete with dropping a few tufts on him/her/it and raiding the grandsons soldier box .

Now Rhett is an enormous 300mm tall. There may have been a problem in the printer “ Allotment 1a” with the application of the super liquid nitrogen feed. The good news is that these are incredibly scalable, though if you want a big one be prepared to wait months .

I am though pretty sure I heard the arch nemeses Bill and Ben the flowerpot men around this morning. Meanwhile Rhett has taken cover in the Sunday dinner stockpot. What could possibly go wrong ! After a little while the wind will really all be gone .

For completeness here is the homage to Madeline Kahn as “Bride of Frankenstein” from the end of Young Frankenstein where she is shacked up with the monster . B&W & 28mm fig - 25 points . It is just about my favourite film.

Next is the ARVN female officer = 20 points Lady Sarah Limousine , 5 points 28mm Figures

Not much to actually distinguish her as being female in that olive drab - but that’s what is marketed as .

Rhett is a bunch of laughs from off the chat this week!

Hahaha! This is brilliant Dave. The Bride and the ARVN officer are excellent (loved Madeleine Kahn), but the pièce de résistance is Rhett. Maybe it's the makeup, or the greenscreen, but there's a lot going on with this rooty fellow(?) - he/she seems to be bit of an overachiever. Nonetheless he/she is also a crowd pleaser, so much so that the stewpot may be the final curtain call for this anti-hero. Nonetheless, we will remember him/her well through this epic post.

I say an extra 20 points for Rhett are in order. Well done Dave. :)
